What Are You Doing To Stay Fit At Home?

Updated: Jan 28

What Do You Do When You Can't Go To The Gym

I know COVID is supposed to be over, but is it? Are we really back to normal? Along with missing friends and family, we also may be less likely to be keeping up with our exercise routine. Many of us used to go to the Health Club, YMCA, or Local Gym, but have we picked it back up? And, in some cases those businesses didn't survive the shutdown. Even though some things have gotten pretty much back to normal, some people are still leery to be around crowds. And, unfortunately, people are STILL getting COVID.

As an older individual with some health concerns, I absolutely need to be extra careful about being around crowds. The answer for me has been to invest in some at home exercise equipment. My personal favorite is a rebounder that can be easily assembled at home. However, there are numerous options for getting the equipment that may work for you.

Here are some things to consider if you decide to start your exercise regiment at home. Keep these things in mind before buying exercise equipment to be used at home.

1. Do you have the room to accommodate your machine?

2. Can you, or do you know someone, assemble it?

3. Does the cost fit your budget?

3. When ordering, always check the shipping costs (they can cost a lot to ship)!

4. What is the return policy if you are not happy?

5. If you live in a condo/apartment, will it disturb your downstairs neighbors?

If you are okay with the list above, a home exercise machine may be a good choice for you. Below, I am including a number of choices I found when checking them out. Be sure to read reviews and ask questions (you can ask questions right on these sites) before deciding. I find the reviews from people who have used these products the most helpful. There are many choices, and here are some choices that are available.

I hope you have some luck getting in shape. It would be a real shame if you let your health go because you are 'staying safe' at home. Good Luck...
