When you ask people what retirement means to them, you are likely to get many answers. They range from "Yay, no more work!" to "Oh my gosh, retiring scares me to death." Others might just smile and say they can't wait. Regardless of how you think about it or when it will happen for you, the most important part is to know when you arrive, you are prepared for all it has to offer.
Retirement is often thought of as entering your last chapter of your life. And, that can be as exciting or scary as you let it. My hope is that in this blog I will be able to share a little of my own experiences with you to help you prepare for the time when you no longer have to work. And, also, to possibly help you avoid some of the mistakes people make when all of a sudden they have arrived at the retirement door and they don't know what to do next.
