After retirement, do you still want to work...from home? This can be an ideal way to bring in some extra income. Or, it might just be a way to stay connected with others.
There are people who have absolutely no desire to continue to work after retirement. But, you might be surprised to learn, many others love and want to continue working. And, it's not always about the money. Some people want to learn something brand new, and working online will certainly increase computer skills, along with learning about a specific skill you are doing for the company. And for others who join an online company, they love the camaraderie they get from being part of a network.
I, for one, have worked on and off since retiring from teaching. I started out by going back to a corporate type job, where I was a Coordinator for a 'SpeakOut' Program that focused on helping school-aged kids learn how to anonymously report possible crimes they saw or heard at their school. This was a great job that allowed me to continue in the education field and use my expertise as a Guidance Counselor from my teaching days...however, I just didn't want to GO TO WORK! And that's when I began my online work experience.
So, what kind of jobs are available to work online? There are tons of opportunities in the online space. Some examples include e-commerce, network marketing, blogging, editing, phone marketing, multi-level marketing, eBay selling, affiliate marketing and much more. I am involved in 4 of those mentioned.
Why are online business opportunities a good choice after retirement? That actually can only be answered by the person doing it. For me, I have a passion to help others reach their financial and health goals. So I chose avenues that fulfill that goal for me. I also love social networking through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, and I am always looking to 'up my game' which seems to keep my mind always working.
How to find the 'RIGHT OPPORTUNITIES'? Again, that goes back to what you want from the experience. Are you into Health and Wellness, Finances, Social Work, Fitness, Digital Products, Writing, Customer Assistance, Arts & Crafts, or something different? Once you narrow it down, do your research. And, if you decide to move forward in a specific industry, make sure you totally understand if it will cost you money to get started and is there a monthly financial commitment. Are you provided trainings, marketing materials, a phone, or specific technology? If these things are not provided, do you have access to them without breaking the bank?
Out of the things I am involved with, my priority is my online business in the Health & Wellness Industry. And the best part of it is the TEAM I am on. We are the fastest growing team in the history of this 10 year old company. And why is that? To be completely honest, it is the leadership we have. Experienced, successful, and dedicated leaders are what can make the difference in YOUR success. You don't necessarily need experience, but it is essential for the people that lead you, and I am very proud to say that is exactly what we have.
Other than any products I buy for myself, I have no out of pocket expenses required by the company. I LOVE the products for both myself and my customers, I have the utmost respect for the owners of the company, and I am part of one of the best compensation plans available in the industry. That works for me and my hope for you is that, if you decide to work after retirement, you find what works well for you...
